The theme: Transportation 2.0. OEM's, suppliers, and technology firms are in a race to modernize our current transportation systems. These changes will bring about adaptations in how people fundamentally interact with transportation, with how they provide and receive goods and services. What new business models will rise from these changes? What challenges? Will modalities be combined? These are the overarching questions that are vital to prepare markets, governments, and researchers for the future.

ITS America 2018 Detroit is accepting high quality papers for dedicated session podium presentations that span the session topics. The ITS America Annual Meeting is a major forum for academic and scientific excellence in the ITS industry. Our technical program is a chance for academics, researchers, and innovators to share their research and recent findings with high level public and private industry leaders, ITS America members, and fellow technical experts. If you or someone in your company, university, or organization has recently undertaken research on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) related to one of these topics, the Annual Meeting Program Committee formally invites you to submit your findings.

Why Submit?

If your Paper is accepted, you will:

■ Participate in one of the most highly regarded events in the transportation industry

■ Build your reputation and your organizations status as an information resource within the ITS industry

■ Gain even greater exposure if your paper is selected for publication by TRB in the Transportation Research Record

■ Have your paper published in the online proceedings following the meeting so that your findings can be made available to the ITS Community

■ Add value to the knowledge-base of other transportation, technology, and business professionals

■ Receive a reduced registration fee to attend the 2018 ITS America Annual Meeting

■ Papers accepted for presentation for the 2018 Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting are eligible to be submitted for the 2018 ITS America Annual Meeting
Papers will be reviewed by ITS America member volunteers who will look for quality, relevance, and significance of the findings. Papers of a predominantly commercial nature will not be accepted.
For more detailed information on submissions, see the Official Guidelines and the Formatting Instructions. Please continue to check the event website for updates related to the overall program.
