Paul Satchfield, Program Management Administrator and SunTrax Program Manager at Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, has joined the ITS Blog on ITSdigest.

Satchfield has served at Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise since 2003 and has been the Program Management Administrator since 2013. In that position he oversees a staff of over 30, including 15 Project Managers who are responsible for delivering all the Turnpike's projects from concept to construction. Over the next five years, the Turnpike will deliver approximately $3.8 billion worth of construction projects across the state of Florida.

Satchfield also currently serves as the SunTrax Program Manager, responsible for the overall development of a new facility dedicated to advancing innovative transportation solutions.

With nearly 500 miles of safe and beautifully maintained toll roads, the Turnpike offers convenient routes and easy access to major highways throughout the state. Once nicknamed "Florida's Main Street," the Turnpike provides travelers with outstanding customer service and amenities. The Turnpike System is used daily by more than two million motorists and is operated by Florida's Turnpike Enterprise, part of the Florida Department of Transportation.

SunTrax is a large-scale, cutting-edge facility dedicated to the research, development and testing of emerging transportation technologies in safe and controlled environments. The facility is located off I-4 between Orlando and Tampa.
